WW1500
Water Well Inspection Winch
This electric winch is manufactured
to hold up to 2000 feet of ¼ inch
single conductor inspection cable. The winch
is configured to operate with an electric
motor, although it may be purchased hydraulically
powered. The level wind mechanism is used
to keep the cable in place in a uniform
fashion. An emergency hand brake and mechanical
counter is also supplied. The counter wheel
uses a 200 pulse optical encoder to transmit
pulses to the on-screen depth video overlay
to accurately measure depth. A variable
speed controller is included. All CCV winches
use a sealed mercury slip ring for a continuous
maintenance free connection. Side panel
