This winch holds up to 5000 feet of ¼ inch single conductor inspection cable. The winch is configured to operate with either a hydraulic motor or an electric motor. A level wind mechanism, an emergency hand brake, a variable speed controller and a mechanical counter are also supplied. The counter wheel uses a 200 pulse optical encoder for accurate on-screen depth measurement. All CCV winches use a sealed mercury slip ring for a continuous maintenance free electrical connection.
